Thomas F. Ranieri, Sr. earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas.  At the University of Dallas, he contributed to the school newspaper as an op-ed writer and served in the student government. 

Mr. Ranieri subsequently earned his Master of Arts degree in Statecraft and National Security Affairs, with a specialization in Intelligence from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, District of Columbia.  He had several articles academically published in this field around this time and worked as an intelligence analyst for some time. 

Mr. Ranieri started law school at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was ranked 4th in his class and served on Law Review as an Assistant Editor.  He was the President of the Italian-American Law Association in which role he held a fundraiser to provide support to those with terminal cancer, raising thousands of dollars. 

Mr. Ranieri subsequently transferred to George Mason University School of Law, now known as the Antonin Scalia School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.  While matriculating there, Mr. Ranieri served as a guest editor on the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.  He graduated in 2017 and has been working in litigation ever since. 

Throughout Mr. Ranieri’s legal career, he has had opportunity to work as a Law Clerk in the Judiciary Committees of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.  Mr. Ranieri began his work as a litigator practicing in construction law and complex commercial litigation at a boutique law firm, where he also managed the firm’s e-discovery practice. 

Mr. Ranieri joined Charisse Hines Law in 2021 to serve as a litigation associate.  As such, he assists the firm with litigation matter.  Though he specializes in litigation, Mr. Ranieri has experience in transactional work and enjoys the opportunity to explore new areas of law.

Mr. Ranieri resides in Hyattsville, Maryland with his family.  He enjoys reading, writing, playing the piano poorly, and spending time with his exceptional children and spouse.
